We've only made it to the semi-finals so far, we've only shown boring teamplay, we've only won by the smallest of margins against Brasil and yes we are not the world champions yet, but man was Amsterdam crazy. The current football World Championship has created quite a lot of controversy already with its gorgeous instrumental flair, lacklustre play and friendly going-ons in the French parts, but Qatar is busy at work trying to get their 2022 bid out the door. Here's quite a nifty, and rather unrealistic, presentation of 5 of their supposed stadiums. I really hope design studio's take note and will be able to build upon these ideas for future stadiums, because I enjoy looking at several of them.
At the same time I sure as hell hope Qatar doesn't really get a shot at organizing a tournament like this, as there need to be more to organizing such an amazing tournament then a big pile of green. Qatar, seriously, who are you trying to kid?
